Landing Pad for international entrepreneurs – Visit from a South-Asian delegation on August 16, 2015
Last Sunday, we had the pleasure to welcome a delegation from South-Asia which is currently on an international business exchange trip to explore the German startup scene, organized by the Friedrich-Naumann-Foundation (Friedrich-Naumann-Stiftung für die Freiheit). I gave an introductory workshop to the German startup scene for our guests from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. We also had some great discussions about the differences and potential similarities of the German and South-Asian startup communities, about new technologies and innovation as well as challenges faced by founders.
We announced some time ago that we’d like to create a Landing Pad for international entrepreneurs who want to learn more about the startup community in Stuttgart and Germany. We are happy that we could directly deliver on this promise in our new Accelerate Spaces by welcoming our South-Asian guests.
You can find a few impressions from our workshop on flickr. Additionally, on Monday afternoon I gave a short introduction specifically to our Stuttgart startup community before the delegation went on to explore Berlin on Tuesday evening. Find my presentation about the Stuttgart community on Slideshare.
We are looking forward to welcome more international entrepreneurs here in Stuttgart! Please let us know if you plan to visit Stuttgart and want to hear more about our startup community! Just get in touch via kontakt(at)accelerate-stuttgart.de
